Are The Stars Aligned For Your Pet?

You can find anything on the internet these days, including how the alignment of the planets is affecting your dog’s behavior. As strange as it sounds, the web is filled with dog astrology materials. You can find magazine articles, books, and newsletters focused on daily, monthly and yearly horoscopes. Before you push the dog horoscope craze out of your mind, consider why someone may want to check out an animal horoscope. Then, if you’re interested, read below for additional reference materials.
In order to use a horoscope for a pet, you must know his or her date of birth. This can be a difficult task for some people, since pets come from all sorts of places. If you do know the birth date, or have a rough idea, then you can use the horoscope to find out a number of things. Just like human astrology, these tidbits can fill you in on your pet’s strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes and desires.
So, once you find out this information about your pet, what are you supposed to do with it? Many people interpret the horoscopes for current situations. For instance, if your pet suddenly adapted a bad habit of jumping on your guests, a horoscope may tell you how your dog is being affected by astrology at the moment. Maybe this information can help you identify and correct the problem. Or, maybe you’re curious about your compatibility with a pet before you take one home. A horoscope can provide that information before you make a dog decision.
You may be wondering exactly what astrology can tell us about our pets. Again, there are tons of resources on the web and even in your library. For the purpose of this article, let’s see what personality traits are correlated with each zodiac.

Aries:  The leader of the pack
Taurus:  The strong and silent type
Gemini:  The yapper
Cancer:  The home-lover
Leo:  The boss dog
Virgo:  The helper
Libra:  The shop steward
Scorpio:  The paragon
Sagittarius:  The problem dog
Capricorn:  The social climber
Aquarius:  The friend
Pisces:  The interpreter

This is just an introduction to pet horoscopes; what you believe is up to you. If you like to check your own horoscope, then give your dog’s horoscope a try to. Who knows? Maybe it will help you solve that annoying behavior or let you know when you should purchase a puppy.

There are also books related to canine astrology. If you’d like to further research dog astrology at your local library, then look for these popular titles:

Joyce Jillson’s Astrology for Dogs by Joyce Jillson. (June 25, 2005).
