Michael Schuer is smart and knows this type of shit better than anyone. Glenn Beck knows nothing of the sort and lives in a fantasy land where the next civil war is right around the corner. Schuer shouldnt have even come on the show. But im glad he told Glenn Beck that hes wrong.
Why is Beck so obsessed with civil unrest and apocolyptic scenarios. I think its obvious that whether Beck realizes it or not, hes trying to make it happen. He wants it to happen. I dont get why he thinks it would be so easy for something like what hes talking about to happen. Things will not get so bad that there is another civil war and soldiers killing civilians. Beck is a crackpot, we dont live in that era anymore.

Breaking down doesn’t necessarily mean riots and WWIII. It’s alarmist stories like that that are invalidating those giving sound warnings. What’s breaking down is the steam the economy and society in general had 2 years ago. Life was shit in 2007 but when you look at 2007 compared to 2009 you can’t deny that 2011 into 2012 might be alot darker. ‘Breaking down’ can mean that countries like the UK and US people might start working simply to pay rent and eat.
