and to add to this, I don’t understand why they are laughing. Things like what is predicted in 2012 has happened several times already in the past.
The prediction isn’t based on the calendar’s ending nessicarily, it ends because that’s when the mayans believed there will be a global allignment with the sun and the milky way, causing a pole shift. Now, I don’t fully believe this will cause doomsday nessicarily, but these people are just ignorant… Sure, the mayan predictions aren’t science, but there will be an allignment, and it’s uncertain what will happen.
