May 24, ’08: Marshall, Ok Tornadoes
Two tornadoes touched down simultaneously near the town of Marshall just west of I-35 in north-central Oklahoma on May 24. One of the vortices to our west, a beautiful classic elephant trunk, moved slowly towards us allowing for a steady capture of the tornadoe’s classic formation & dissipation. Quick time lapse shows the incredible motion of the scud spiraling around the vortex.
