A cycle ends and a new one begins in the transsion period the system the earth the cycle has cleaning process wether is mayan prophecy or not it would happened. Live your life and if you are meant to progress you understand what is happening and destiny will guide you, if not just enjoy life because you can stop to exist from desease car accident not only from a prophecy etc etc!

I dont think this mayan elder neceserilly knows anything about this. Just becasue he has a long genetic trace to the civilization this does not mean hes knows. If hes knows what will happen then hewould also know how thetemples wereconstructedandhow the maya obtained theirundersatanding of the universe. I have never hear of anyone who knows this, sohow can he know what will happen? To me the best indication is the past civlizations. Does their dissapearance indicate we will too? I think it does!
